M-1 Infrared Technology

The M1 technology is an advanced soil/solids/sludge remediation technology that utilizes infrared (IR) heating. The IR elements heat up to 870°C. Heat is transferred from the elements to the soil/solids/sludge by conduction.

As the soil temperature rises, contaminants and water volatilize and create pressure. This pressure forces the steam and volatilized contaminants into the low-pressure element housings where they are forced to travel along the heating elements prior to exhaust. Typically the processing time is about 24-48 hours. This technology is 3 times more efficient than the competitive technology.
